Tuesday's ROMS TV Announcements

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News for Tuesday, October 4th

Did you know One cow can produce 200,000 glasses of milk in its lifetime. In one year, a dairy cow produces 5678 litres of milk

The count down is on Royal Oak! There are 23 days until the RO Screamfest? This years theme is Scary Movies! The haunted walk will be even bigger and scarier than last year! Get your tickets Thursday!

1) Who is Ms. Espedido? What does Ms Espedido do at Royal Oak? Tune into tomorrow to learn the details of this grade 8 teacher!

2) ROMS extra curricular sports is going full steam! If you have any questions about sport teams, talk to Mr Menzies in the gym!

3) Water - Remember to drink lots of water and bring your water bottle to PE classes. Students our age should drink 7 – 10 glasses or 1.5 litres of water per day. We often don't feel thirsty even when our bodies need fluid, so it's a good idea to drink water .

4) Fitness: Immediate benefits include maintaining a healthy weight, feeling more energetic, and promoting a better outlook. Participating in team and individual sports can boost self-confidence, provide chances for social interaction, and offer a chance to have fun. Regular physical activity can help prevent heart disease, diabetes, and other medical problems later in life.

5) Photo packages are coming your way soon! Photo Retake day will be October 19

6) Fire Prevention Week is next week! Time to review fire drill procedures.

That concludes our TV news cast for today! Please join us tomorrow for further News updates.

Thanks for choosing ROMS TV as you number one station for News!
