Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

The Games Club will be meeting in Room 125 at 1:16 pm today.


The cross country team has a practice tomorrow morning.  Please meet by the MPR at 8:20am

Attention all girls who are interested in playing basketball this year. Tomorrow there will be the team selection practice after school for all girls. Grade 6s and 7s will practice from 3:15- 4:00 and grade 8s will practice from 4:00 until 5:00. Please visit the ROMS athletics webpage to see the detailed schedule.

Notice to divisions 8-1, 8-7 and 8-8 of their intra-mural indoor soccer games Wednesday at lunch.

Good afternoon Royal Oak! Here is your TV News for Monday, October 3rd

Did you know that only 24 days until the RO Screamfest? Get your scream ready!

1) Orange Shirt Day – As you know, Friday was Orange Shirt Day. A big thank you to all students and staff who participated in this significant event. Great to see the wonderful participation both in the classroom as well as with the T shirts!.

2) Halloween Scream Fest is on Oct 27 and 28th! Tickets are limited to 500 per people per night so get yours fast! Tickets are $5 to get into the event where you will pay as you go through the many events. Tickets are on sale Thursday and Friday at lunch.

3) Royal News! Prince William and Princes Kate's visit to Canada is now complete. The Royal family has now returned back to their home in England!

4) Who is Mr. Menzies and what does he do at Royal Oak? Mr. Menzies is the teacher that organizes all the extra curricular sports teams here at Royal Oak. He is in charge of booking gym times, games and referees. Thank you Mr. Menzies.

5) ROMS sports is well underway. The basketball season is starting up. If you have any questions about teams, talk to Mr Menzies.

6) Water bottles! Remember to bring your water bottle to PE classes. You want to make sure you are well hydrated when exercising. Be sure to have your name on your water bottle in case you leave it behind.

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:00-9:00 am in Room 215 and

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:08-4:08 pm in Room 215
