Missing: The Grade 8 Intra-Mural championship belt has gone missing from Div 8-3 classroom. If found, please return it to Mr. Stanchfield as soon as possible.

Track & Field: Congratulations to the Royal Oak track team on a very successful day at the city finals yesterday. The Eagles had many strong performances and placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in several events. Thanks you to all the parents who helped coach and supervise throughout the season. Your contributions really helped our team have a fantastic season.
Any students who took jerseys home by accident, please return them to Mr. Menzies as soon a possible.
Athletic Leadership: There will be a mandatory meeting for all Athletic Leadership members today at SECOND Recess. Please come to gym after advisory and help remind other members of the meeting. That's Athletic Leadership meeting, Second recess, in the gym.

ALS Triathalon: Permission forms are available in the school office. The Cycle of Hope on Sunday June 12th and swim on Monday, June 13th. Help us raise money to find a cure!

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:
SPC Card Coordinator: PAC is looking for a parent to coordinate the online selling of SPC cards in the fall. This is an easy fundraiser to organize and mainly takes some coordination with the SPC rep. Many of the students can use the SPC discount cards at the malls and elsewhere. Please email@example.com if you are interested in heading up this fundraiser.
Open Air Library: The 'Open-Air' Library, sponsored by Saanich Peninsula Literacy opens for a second summer starting July 5th at Sidney's Beacon Park. Come and experience the joy of reading in this beautiful outdoor setting. Free books are provided each week for all ages to enjoy. Take one home to read and return it or keep it...no strings attached and no library card needed. Join the fun each Tuesday from 10am until noon from July 5th to August 23rd .
World Oceans Day: In celebration of this international day, World Fisheries Trust and the Township of Esquimalt are hosting a World Oceans Day event with interpretive walks, guided Songhees canoe tours of the Gorge, crafts, games, live music and food! Many other local organizations that share an interest in our ocean will be joining the celebration with informative displays and ocean-related activities for all ages. Saturday, June 4th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Esquimalt Gorge Park at 1070 Tillicum Rd. www.worldfish.org

Attention all Grade 8 families:
On June 27th the Grade 8 students will be celebrating 3 fabulous years at a Farewell HOLLYWOOD themed event. The event will take place at ROMS in the Gym and MPR from 6pm-9pm. There will be food, games and a DJ.
Tickets : will be sold at Lunch Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays starting June 6 th @ $10 each . If paying by cheque please make it payable to ROMS PAC
