Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Congratulation to Chase B. in Div 8-2 for winning low net at the Leo Derman Junior at Gorge Vale Golf club, qualifying as one of two boys from zone 5, South Island, to play at the BC Summer Games!.  Well done Chase!!

Pizza Day – Classes will be called in the following order:  

Word Of the Week Winners:  Div 8-1

Blue Floor, Green floor, and then Grade 8 Helpers: Mr. Goy's ESL Group


Track & Field:  There will be a mandatory meeting for all track and field athletes who plan on attending next week's City Finals today at FIRST recess in the gym. All students who plan to attend MUST be there to confirm their events and receive a permission form.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

Traffic Safety:  Just a reminder to parents, staff & visitors to please slow down within the school zone.  We ask that you come to a full stop at the “stop” sign near the round about and make sure to check for pedestrians.

Grade 8 Farewell:  

Attention all Grade 8 families: 

On June 27th the Grade 8 students will be celebrating 3 fabulous years at a Farewell HOLLYWOOD themed event. The event will take place at ROMS in the Gym and MPR from 6pm-9pm. There will be food, games and a DJ. 

Tickets : will be sold at Lunch Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays starting June 6 th @ $10 each 

We need volunteers to make this event possible.

Compost Sales:  Organic compost soil sales:  $10 per bag or 3 bags for $25.  Pick up on school days from 2:50-3:25 pm

School Supplies On-line Orders:  We are working on finalizing the on-line orders for school supplies for 2016-17.  Stay tuned.......

Forms:  A reminder to all parents - if you are going to drive students for a field trip that you must have your paper work completed before the trip and asap. Form 3040C - School Use of a Private Vehicle (proof of valid insurance) and a valid Criminal Record Check must be on file with the District.  Please check with your teacher or the office.

Smile Cards:  Please use your Thrifty Foods Smile Cards when you buy their groceries. Our

PAC receives 5% (yes, 5c for every dollar you spend! ) on all purchases

that families make, using their Thrifty's Smile Cards.  The program wraps

up for the school year in June, so we have less than 2 months left.  If you

don't have a card, but would like one, please email
