Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Band Concert Dress Rehearsal:  Band students will be called down to the lower field throughout the day for dress rehearsals for tonight's concert.  Grade 7 students will be called down part way through block 1, Grade 8 students at the beginning of block 3, Jazz band during lunch activity, grade 6 students at the beginning of block 4 and grade 7 students again part way through block 4.

Band Silent Auction Items:  Band students please drop off any gift basket and silent auction donations in the band room by today during lunch activity.

Girls Circle: Girls Circle meets today at advisory, 11:40  in the Blue Conference Room. See you there!

Canteen today:  Popcorn on sale  at first recess.  Popcorn $1.00, Chocolate milk $1.50, White milk $1.00

Canteen Thursday:  Cookies 75 cents, smoothies  50 cents, chicken nuggets $2.00


Field Hockey:  Players are reminded to return their jersey and bring their item for our celebration to Miss Fuller's room 124 at 1:18 today.


Track & Field:  Attention all track and field athletes: There will be a mandatory meeting for students participating in the meet at UVIC today in the gym at FIRST recess. Anyone entered in the 4 x 100m relay, 4 x 400m relay, and 2000m must attend to confirm rides and team composition. See you there!

Band Concert:  The ROMS year end band concert takes place this evening.!  There will be a bbq, silent auction, student entertainment and level ground coffee sales starting at 5:30pm with the band concert taking place at 7pm on the lower field.  All ROMS band students will be performing.  Please come out and support the band!

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

Compost Sales:  Organic compost soil sales:  $10 per bag or 3 bags for $25.  Pick up on school days from 2:50-3:25 pm

Smile Cards:  Please use your Thrifty Foods Smile Cards when you buy their groceries. Our

PAC receives 5% (yes, 5c for every dollar you spend! ) on all purchases

that families make, using their Thrifty's Smile Cards.  The program wraps

up for the school year in June, so we have less than 2 months left.  If you

don't have a card, but would like one, please email
