Jazz Band: There will be an extra jazz band rehearsal on Friday, May 20 during lunch activity in the band room.

Classes will be called in the following order:
Word of the week winners: Div 8-7
Be the change winners: Div 6-1
Cleanest Grounds Winners: Wolf Hallway – Grade 8's first and then Grades 6 & 7
Then Orca Hallway – Grade 8's first and then Grades 6 & 7
Then Thunderbird Hallway - Grade 8's first and then Grades 6 & 7
Then Raven Hallway - Grade 8's first and then Grades 6 & 7
Track & Field: There will be a meeting for all students planning on participating in next week's track meet, today at morning recess in the gym. Anyone intending on competing in the 2000m, 4 x 100m relay, or 4 x 400m relay must attend. That's all students going to next week's track meet, meeting in the gym, FIRST recess today!
Field Hockey: Congratulations to the ROMS Field Hockey team on their impressive 3 victories yesterday. Special Shout out to Francesca for being in goal. All players are reminded to bring their clean jersey and their item for our celebration to Miss Fuller's Room 124 on Wednesday at Lunch Activity time.

Performance Opportunity: There will be an open stage in the MPR on the night of the ROMS year end band concert on May 25. Any students interested in performing as a solo or small group act please see Mr. Bridgman by Thursday, May 19. Performances should be well prepared and could include a variety of performing arts such as musical, dramatic or dance performances.
Lost & Found: Please check the lost and found for items that you may have lost. All items will be bagged up on Tuesday, May 24th and donated to charity.
Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:
Compost Sales: Organic compost soil sales: $10 per bag or 3 bags for $25. Pick up on school days from 2:50-3:25 pm
Smile Cards: Please use your Thrifty Foods Smile Cards when you buy their groceries. Our
PAC receives 5% (yes, 5c for every dollar you spend! ) on all purchases
that families make, using their Thrifty's Smile Cards. The program wraps
up for the school year in June, so we have less than 2 months left. If you
don't have a card, but would like one, please email
