Craft Club: Today at 1:16- 1:56 at room 125.
Drawing Club: Last Day for Drawing club is May 17th. We are celebrating by having a potluck. Bring a a hand held snack/ finger food to share with the group Ms. Spencer will bring juice and cups.
Science Challengers: Tomorrow is competition day at UVIC. Please remember to attend morning homeroom before meeting in front of the office after the bell.
We Create Change: Thank you Royal Oak. In just two weeks we raised over $665 to help build a school in Equador. In total this year, we raised just over $1500 to help build a school. A great big shout out and Early pizza line goes to....Mrs Ryan's class - You should let Tyler V go first! Thank you to everyone who donated.
Canteen today: Cookies 75 cents, smoothies 50 cents
Canteen tomorrow: Popcorn sold every Wednesday at first recess. Popcorn $1.00, Chocolate milk $1.50, White milk $1.00
Congratulations to all track and field athletes who participated in last night's meet at uvic. The Eagles did very well and are looking good for the City Finals on June 2nd. The next track practice is tomorrow morning at 8:00. See you there!
Field Hockey: All field hockey players are reminded of their Mandatory meeting on Wednesday during First Recess in the Learning Commons.

Band Sectionals: All grade 6 flute players have sectionals today during lunch activity in the band room.
Jazz Band: There will be a jazz band rehearsal on Wednesday, May 18 during lunch activity in the band room.
Performance Opportunity: There will be an open stage in the MPR on the night of the ROMS year end band concert on May 25. Any students interested in performing as a solo or small group act please see Mr. Bridgman by Thursday, May 19. Performances should be well prepared and could include a variety of performing arts such as musical, dramatic or dance performances.
Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:
PAC AGM: The PAC AGM meeting is this Wednesday, May 18th. All parents are welcome to attend. The meeting starts at 7 pm and is held in the Learning Commons at Royal Oak. This is the last PAC meeting of the year.
Compost Sales: Organic compost soil sales: $10 per bag or 3 bags for $25. Pick up on school days from 2:50-3:25 pm
Smile Cards: Please use your Thrifty Foods Smile Cards when you buy their groceries. Our
PAC receives 5% (yes, 5c for every dollar you spend! ) on all purchases
that families make, using their Thrifty's Smile Cards. The program wraps
up for the school year in June, so we have less than 2 months left. If you
don't have a card, but would like one, please email
