Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Girls Circle: Girls Circle meets today at advisory, 12:47 in the Blue Conference Room. See you there!

Canteen today:  Popcorn sold every Wednesday at the Canteen.  Popcorn $1.00, Chocolate $1.50, White milk $1.00

Canteen Thursday
:  Cookies 75 cents, smoothies  50 cents, chicken nuggets $2.00


ROMS SPORTS


Field Hockey:  All ROMS field hockey players are reminded of their meeting at FIRST RECESS in the Learning Commons to organize our rides to UVic for Thursday.  

Badminton: 
The grade 7 play-off tournament is today. Good luck to our grade 7 players representing ROMS. Practice for grade 8's is canceled for tomorrow morning.

Track and Field permission forms are due as soon as possible. Please hand them into Mr. Menzies as soon as possible. The next track practice is tomorrow morning for anyone interested in signing up for 100m, 200m, and 400m. All students interested are encouraged to attend. The first track meet is Next week!

ROMS Girls Basketball Club:
  Grade 6 girls interested in joining the ROMS Girls Basketball Club please come to our first practice on tomorrow at 3:30 pm.  See Mr. Bergeron for details.


ROMS TV NEWS @ 12:32

Band Sectionals:  There will be a very important jazz band rehearsal today starting at 1pm in the band room.  All grade 6 clarinetists have sectionals on Thurs, Apr. 28 during lunch activity in the band room.

All jazz band students attending the band trip to Sidney on May 2nd please return your permission slips to Mr. Bridgman ASAP.

Final week for ROMS 2015/2016 Yearbook Orders! Order forms available from Miss Cottier or on her homework website! Cost is $35 and ensures a book delivered directly to your homeroom in June! Don't miss out - only 30 extra copies will be ordered.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

PAC is looking for a volunteer or two to assist with running a fundraiser in the fall for SPC cards. This is an easy fundraiser as a number of students use the SPC card for discounts at stores they already shop at. If you are interested in organizing this fundraiser, email romspacpresident@gmail.com.
