ROMS Dancers: Dance club members are reminded to meet Ms. Pratt at the front entrance today at 11:55 ready to go to UVIC. Remember a snack and your water bottle.

Learning Commons: The Learning Commons will be closed during the lunch recess today due to the Elders Tea.

Elders Tea: Today we welcome parents, community members and First Nations elders for Royal Oak's First Potluck and Elder's Tea. First Nations Eagles students will be hosting this event. These students are reminded to meet Ms. Savage in the learning commons at the very beginning of block 3 with their potluck item.

Craft Club: Today at 1:16- 1:56 at room 125.

Dance Club: Dance club will meet in the Drama Room at 1:16 today.

Are you a girl in grade 6 and like to play basketball? Then consider joining the ROMS Junior Girls Basketball Club. One hour drop-in practices and scrimmages are planned for Thursdays after school and Saturday mornings through spring and summer. First practice is this Thursday, April 28th at 3:30. Band Sectionals: All grade 6 trombone players have sectionals today during lunch activity in the band room. There will be a very important jazz band rehearsal on Wed. Apr. 27 starting at 1pm in the band room.  All jazz band students attending the band trip to Sidney on May 2nd please return your permission slips to Mr. Bridgman ASAP.

Final week for ROMS 2015/2016 Yearbook Orders! Order forms available from Miss Cottier or on her homework website! Cost is $35 and ensures a book delivered directly to your homeroom in June! Don't miss out - only 30 extra copies will be ordered.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

ALL GRADE 8 PARENTS, there is a farewell planning meeting TONIGHT- Tuesday, April 26th. Please note the start time is 7:30 pm and the meeting will be held in room 220 just to the left of the computer room upstairs. 


PAC is looking for a volunteer or two to assist with running a fundraiser in the fall for SPC cards. This is an easy fundraiser as a number of students use the SPC card for discounts at stores they already shop at. If you are interested in organizing this fundraiser, email romspacpresident@gmail.com.
