Science Challengers
:  Please remember to attend our organization meeting today at lunch recess in room 130.  We will be putting teams together and selecting study material.  If you cannot attend, please bring your forms to Mr Azim at morning recess.

Drawing Group/Cartoon Animation:  Meets today in Ms. Savage's Room 223 at lunch activity time.  Please bring your pencil case, coloured pencils, scissors, sharpies, glue.  Please let Ms. Savage or Ms. Spencer know if you are unable to come.

Grade 8 Baby Photos:  Grade 8 students have only 12 more school days to submit their adorable Baby Photos to Miss Cottier for the yearbook! Please send a digital image to Miss Cottier at ecottier@sd63.bc.ca by Friday March 11th.  No late photos will be accepted.

Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice
Canteen today:  Cookies 75 cents, smoothies  50 cents, chicken nuggets $2.00

ROMS SPORTS
Gr 8 Intra Murals:  Come to the MPR at lunch to watch the final four of the grade 8 ping pong championship.

Rugby:  Notice to all grade 8 boys Eagles rugby players of our next practices, Monday and Wednesday next week. See Mr. Stanchfield if you have any questions.

Band Sectionals:  All grade 6 bass players have sectionals tomorrow during lunch activity in the band room.
Choir:  There will be a choir rehearsal tomorrow (Friday) during lunch activity in the band room.

Grade 8's:  Don't forget that there is a Grade 8 Parent Course Selection Info Night @ Claremont – 7:00-8:00 pm

Claremont School Trip:  Grade 8 Students transitioning to Claremont next school year....There is an opportunity to join the Europe 2017 Vimy Ridge school trip:
Europe Trip 2017 'Beaches and Battlefields'.
Visit Amsterdam, Vimy Ridge for 100th Anniversary ceremony, Juno Beach, and Paris.
This incredible 10 day trip is so popular it is sold out to schools but Claremont still has some available spots left.
Any Claremont student is welcome to attend next year including this year's grade 8's. (space is very limited)
There will be a booth with more information set up in the gym on Friday during the grade 8 transition day at Claremont.

Yearbook: ROMS 2015/2016 Yearbook is now available for Pre-Order! Yearbooks are 128 pages of full colour awesomeness!! This year the book will contain over 2,000 photos from anything from athletics, to extra-curricular, to random moments caught on camera! Books are $35 and forms are available from Miss Cottier and on her homework website!  Grade 8's have until March 11th to email a baby photo!

PAC Meeting
:  Don't forget to mark your calendars. The PAC general meeting for March will be on Tuesday, March 8th and will take place at 7 pm in the Learning Commons.

NEED A FUN NIGHT OUT?
... gather your friends for a night of adult fun. The Cordova Bay School silent auction/ fundraiser is happening Friday 26 at the Cordova Bay Beach House. It's not too late to buy tickets after school or at the door at the Beach House (ticket sales 6:30-8:30) at 5109 Cordova Bay Road. Tickets are $25 per person which includes appetizers, music and great silent auction items (Spa, wine, golf, Canuck and Royals tickets, restaurant and food, gymnastics lessons, dance tuition and much more).
