Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Thank you:  Ms. Hunter & Mr. Bergeron would like to thank all students and staff who helped with the Open House last night including the Extreme Team and the student tour guides and greeters.  The Open House was a huge success.

Grade 8 band  Final deposit for the Whistler trip is due today.
 

ROMS SPORTS
 
Grade 7 Volleyball players:  There will be an important meeting fro all grade 7 boys volleyball players today at morning recess in the gym. All players must attend.

Practices today are: Grade 6 boys at lunch recess, and Grade 6 girls ROMS 2, and then after school there is a practice for all grade 6 girls. Please be there on time and in your PE strip ready to play by 3:15.

Jerseys:  All players are reminded to return you jersey to Mr. Menzies as soon as possible as we need them for other teams to use.

Flute Players: All grade 6 flute players have sectionals today during lunch activity in the band room.

Choir:  There will be a choir rehearsal tomorrow during lunch activity in the band room.
 
Open House:  Claremont High School  is holding an open house for all new grade 9 students and parents on tonight (Feb 4) from 6 to 8 pm. Be sure to let your acquaintances who might be interested in attending Claremont next year know about this information evening.
 
Yearbook:
ROMS 2015/2016 Yearbook is now available for Pre-Order! Yearbooks are 128 pages of full colour awesomeness!! This year the book will contain over 2,000 photos from anything from athletics, to extra-curricular, to random moments caught on camera! Books are $35 and forms are available from Miss Cottier and on her homework website!  Grade 8's have until March 11th to email a baby photo!

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

PAC Meeting:  Parents should plan to attend the general PAC meeting this month on Monday, February 15th. Stu Rhodes will be speaking during a portion of the meeting on the opportunities available to students in the trades area. There will be some interesting information shared.
 
Bottle Depot Account:  The grade 8 farewell committee has setup an account at the Bottle Depot. Parents can drop off their recycling to any of the 3 Bottle Depot locations. YOU MUST REFERENCE our "Royal Oak PAC account" PRIOR to the start of them ringing up your recycling. There will also be a bottle drive at the beginning of April and all proceeds will go to benefit the grade 8 farewell. Thanks to all families for your support.
