Games Club:  The Games Club will be meeting in Room 125 at 1:16 pm.


Volleyball: Volleyball practices are up an running and we have a busy week ahead of us. The teams practicing today at lunch recess are grade 7 boys ROMS 1, and Grade 7 girls ROMS 2. The teams practicing today after school are Grade 7 boys ROMS 2, and all grade 6 girls volleyball players. Please see the weekly practice schedule on the door of the PE office and on the Athletics bulletin board to confirm when your team is practicing this week. This schedule is also on on the ROMS athletics website.

Athletic Leadership: There will be a meeting for all athletic leadership students today at lunch recess in the MPR. All members must attend. That's athletic leadership meeting today at lunch in the MPR.

Grade 6 Girls Volleyball: There will be a meeting for all grade 6 girls volleyball teams today at morning recess in the gym. All players must attend. That's grade 6 girls volleyball meeting today in the gym at morning recess.

Trumpet Sectionals: All grade 6 trumpet players have sectionals on Tues, Jan. 12 during lunch activity in the band room.

Canteen Tuesday:  Cookies 75 cents, smoothies  50 cents

Grade 8 Gear: The additional Grade 8 gear has arrived and will be handed out in the next couple days. PAC has a few extra hoodies for those that missed ordering. There are 2 large hoodies for sale and 1 t-shirt in size ladies small. If you are interested to buy a grade 8 hoodie or t-shirt, they are $40 and $15. Please email Lynn Works at works@mail.com. The warm hoodies will sell quickly.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

ATTENTION GRADE 8 PARENTS: There is a Grade 8 farewell planning meeting this Wednesday, January 13th from 7pm-8pm at ROMS in the learning commons. Parents who attend the meeting will help select three themes for the grade 8 students to vote on this month. In addition to theme, parents will discuss food, budget and fundraising. It's a great opportunity so plan to attend.

Grade 8 students that missed out on a hoodie or t-shirt can buy one from PAC. There is limited quantities available. (size adult S t-shirts and size adult L hoodies) Please email Lynn Works at works@mail.com if you would like to buy one.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for a Royals game on family day- Monday, February 8th. In addition to the afternoon hockey game against Everett, there is a public skate after the game with the Royals team. Tickets are available to purchase online. (roms.hotlunches.net) Ticket price is $12 for students and $15 for adults. Helmets are mandatory for the post game skate and should be brought into the game along with skates as no re-entry is allowed.
