Band: All grade 6 clarinetists have sectionals today during lunch activity in the band room.

Craft Club: Today at 1:16- 1:56 at room 125.

Grade 7/8 Competitive Girls Basketball: The grade 7/8 competitive girls basketball team finished 2nd in the city after last night’s hard fought game against Dunsmuir. The girls played with heart and hustle and should be proud of their accomplishment. Shout out to Ms. Robson who made the trek through the Colwood crawl to cheer us on.

Grade 6/7 Intra-murals: After a nail biting first semi final last week, the second semi final for the 6/7 indoor soccer tournament is set for tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 9th. Last week, The Thompsonators (6-2), The Golden Potatoes (M-3), A-Hoy-A (M-5) battled hard, but in the end only one team could move on to the final, M-5. Tomorrow our second semi final commences, with the winner taking on M-5 in the final on Thursday. Wednesday's second semi final teams to play are: The Buxinators (M-1), The Savages (M-2), and Fluffy Unicorns (7-2). Players must be in the gym and ready to play by 1:20. Good luck!

Choir: Choir members please return your permission forms for Thursday's caroling trip to Mr. Bridgman as soon as possible.

Student Success:  James M. completed a 20 hour black belt test this weekend and he earned his black belt in karate.

Jazz Band: There will be a jazz band rehearsal on Wednesday, Dec. 9 during lunch activity in the band room.

PAC Fundraiser: On Wednesday, December 9th, Kernels popcorn will be for sale during the lunch hour. The price is $2.00 per bag and the flavours are regular salt and butter, caramel or white cheddar. 95 cents from each bag sold will go to the PAC to help with the purchase of supplies or to sponsor events for our students. See you on the 9th and don't forget your toonies!

Grade 8 Gear: Don't forget to order a grade 8 hoodie or t-shirt. PAC is doing a re-order so that grade 8 students can warm up over the winter in their class hoodie. There are 2 ways to order. 1. Paper order forms are up on the PAC bulletin board for grade gear. Pick up a form and drop it with payment attached in the secure PAC drop box. 2. Order hoodies online via the following link. The online system is  for parents wishing to pay by credit card/PayPal. (link is roms.hotlunches.net)

The last day to place an order for hoodies or t-shirts is NEXT WEDNESDAY, Dec 16th. Please note, the price of the grade 8 hoodie is $40 and t-shirts are $15.
