Band: All grade 6 percussionists have sectionals today during lunch activity.

Pro Bro Day:  Tomorrow is Pro Bro Day, everyone who is signed up must meet with Ms. Broome in the Green Conference Room during first recess.

Canteen today:  cookies 75 cents, smoothies  50 cents, Chicken nuggets - $2.00

France Trip 2016: Are you in grade 7? Do you want to go to France in grade 8? Come to the meeting at recess today, in Mme Ryan's Room 234.  

Reminder:  Tomorrow is a non-instructional day, there is no school.

ROMS SPORTS

Boys 6/7 Recreational Basketball: All boys playing on 6/7 recreational basketball teams have a practice today after school. Please bring your permission forms to hand into your coaches or Mr. Menzies. That's 6/7 rec boys basketball practice, today after school. See you there! 

6/7 Indoor Soccer Intramural:  Welcome to week 3 of the 6/7 indoor soccer intramural tournament. Today we have and epic match-up between Fuller's Flyers (6-3) and The Thompsonators (6-2). Players are expected to be dressed in full PE strip and in the gym ready to play by 1:20pm. Good luck teams!

Grade 6/7 boys soccer team: Reminder to the grade 6/7 boys soccer team to meet with Mr. Menzies in the Gym at first recess to arrange rides for today's game.  

Grade 6/7 Girls Competitive Basketball: Mandatory meeting today at first recess (11:23) in Ms. Mah's room.

Grade 8 Gear: Grade 8 orders are due next Tuesday, October 27th. Order forms are on the PAC bulletin board or orders can be placed online as well. 

Drawing Group:  Meets today at in Ms. Savage's Room 223 at lunch activity time.  Please bring your pencil case, coloured pencils, scissors, sharpies, glue.  Please let Ms. Savage or Ms. Spencer know if you are unable to come. Please bring your permission forms.

Food Drive: Watch out Royal Oak for our annual Halloween food drive for the needy - Next week all week. Bring in non-perishable food items to help the less fortunate.

DEAR: Monday October 26th from 11:00 - 11:23 will be our DEAR (Drop Everything and Read!) event at ROMS. Everyone in our school will have the opportunity to take a short break from busy schedules to read in celebration of BC School Libraries/Learning Commons, literacy and learning. Visit the Learning Commons to make sure you have something great to read for this event. 

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

PAC would like to remind you that Thursday is the last day for buying tickets at lunchtime for the Halloween event next week. Please send money with your student on Thursday or order tickets online by the end of this week- Saturday, October 24th. For parents who have placed online orders, tickets may be picked up at lunchtime. Please send your student with your online receipt. 

Grade 8 orders are due next Tuesday, October 27th. Order forms are on the PAC bulletin board or orders can be placed online as well.
