Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

ROMS TV: Are you interested in being a ROMS TV News announcer or a technician that helps produce the news? If you are, there will be an information meeting in the Learning Commons at the first recess on Tuesday September 15th.

Forms: Please return all information forms that were given out to you on Wednesday.

PE Students:  Please return your PE class expectation form to your PE Teacher ASAP.

PE Strip:  All students need to have full gym strip here at the school. This should be kept in a gym bag in your locker.

Morning entrances: reminder students do not enter the far south lower doors in the morning.  These doors are for exiting only. All grade 6's enter through the doors near the wood shop.  Gr 7 & 8's enter through the front doors.

Staff: please ensure you have gone over Earthquake drill procedures.  We will be having a drill today at the end of block 3.

Locks and lockers:   Please ensure you have purchased a school lock and placed it on your locker.  Empty lockers will be locked up at the end of today.

Yearbooks: Missed out on last year's yearbook? There are still a few yearbooks from last year (2014/2015) available for sale at a price of $35. Please see Miss Cottier with either cash or cheque in Room 222 if you would like to purchase one.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

PAC would like to welcome everyone to the first PAC general meeting. It is being held next Tuesday, September 15th in the Learning Commons at 7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to get an update on what is happening at Royal Oak. There will also be a special meeting this month only from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm to talk through the planning for our FANTASTIC Halloween event. It is going to be an amazing new event for Royal Oak. There will be an overview and event organizers would love to get input from parents.

Parking:  You may have noticed that our driveway is extremely congested. With the new Travino Lane development our neighbourhood is busier than ever. We are asking all parents to pick up and drop off your child on Greenlea (which is behind the school). This is a much safer and less congested area to drop off and pick up your student. Thank you for your help in this regard.

Forms:  Please return all forms as soon as possible.
