Remember that it's early dismissal today, at 2:08. Teachers, please post the adjusted block schedule.


All grade 6 band students going on the trip to Sidney tomorrow have a rehearsal in the band room in block two directly after the assembly.  Students can drop off their instruments and music in the band room in the morning.  Please return permission forms for this trip to Mr. Bridgman as soon as possible.  Students need to meet in the band room in uniform by 8:55am tomorrow morning.


Welcome to day 2 of Survivor ROMS! After all teams battled hard yesterday in the gym, only 10 could make it to round 2 of competition. The remaining teams are posted on the front doors of the school, so please have a look to see if your team survived. Round 2 commences today in the gym, and spectators are welcome. Please bring a donation when you come and see who will survive round 2 and make it to the final relay day tomorrow!"


Creator's club is canceled for today.

Track and Field City Finalists and schedule have been posted on the Athletics website. 

Please return all school uniforms to Ms. Robson by Friday!


Field Hockey players are reminded to bring their contributions to Ms. Fuller's classroom on  FRIDAY, room 124 during LUNCH ACTIVITY.

Save your empty bottles and support the Royal Oak Middle School kids! When bringing bottles in to the Glanford Ave, Quadra St or Queens Ave Bottle Depots please tell the cashiers at the beginning of the transaction that you would like to donate the bottles to Royal Oak Middle School. At the end of every month the ROMS PAC will receive a cheque if the balance is over $50. Any money received by the end of this school year will go towards the Grade 8 Farewell Party.


Grade 6 band students please bring in your permission forms for the trip to Sidney on Friday as soon as possible.


Divisions 8-4, 8-5 and 9-7 will be using the multi-purpose room for a presentation on Friday May 29th in Block 2


Canteen Thursday: chicken nuggets - $2.00, chocolate smoothies – 50 cents and cookies – 75 cents.


Guitar club meets today at lunch in Mr. Menzies room 122.


Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice


Girls Circle will be meeting today at advisory and lunch activity.
