Today is the last Mini X session.  The block order will be 1, 3, 4 and then X. Remember to bring your needed supplies for your session. 

Students in Ms. Savage's Mini X are reminded that you should have brought your sanded wooden paddle today.  You will be painting it at Mini X.

Have you enjoyed those short Thursday games brought to you by the Leadership Crews Students? Well then you will love the Survivor ROMS Challenge! We are raising money for the Nepal Earthquake Relief efforts, and are hosting a lunch time challenge of mini games next week! It's really easy to participate. Choose a team of 4, make a minimum donation of $5 per team, and come out for some fun and prizes! Your whole team of 4 needs to sign up for the challenge by coming to an important meeting (with your $5 donation) in Mr. Menzies room (downstairs in room 122) on Monday at lunch recess. There is only room for 20 teams to participate, so spaces will be given to the first 20 teams that arrive! Go ROMS!

Mountain bikers remember to sign up if you intend to ride today.  Sign up in Mr. Prescott's office..

Pizza Day today Classes will be called in the following order: Grade 6 & 7 Blue Floor, Grade 6 & 7 Green Floor, Grade 8 Helpers: Grade 8 Farewell Committee.


Next track meet is on Monday, May 25th at UVIC at 4:00.

Celtic dance meets on Monday at lunch activity time in drama room.  Bring soft soled shoes. 

Save your empty bottles and support the Royal Oak Middle School kids! When bringing bottles in to the Glanford Ave, Quadra St or Queens Ave Bottle Depots please tell the cashiers at the beginning of the transaction that you would like to donate the bottles to Royal Oak Middle School. At the end of every month the ROMS PAC will receive a cheque if the balance is over $50. Any money received by the end of this school year will go towards the Grade 8 Farewell Party.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

The Royal Oak PAC AGM is next Wednesday, May 27th. A new PAC exec will be elected. Nominations are being taken via email or you may elect to run at the meeting next week. (Please email paula@shaw.ca for nominations) There are two positions for exec that are still open- Secretary and Co-Pacs Rep. Either position may be shared. At the AGM, there will be a speaker from Claremont PAC at the start of the meeting. Usual start time of 7 pm in the Learning Commons.
