Morning Radio News @ 9:05 am

Tomorrow is our last Mini X session.  The block order will be 1, 3, 4 and then X. Remember to bring your needed supplies for your session. 

Students in Ms. Savage's Mini X are reminded to bring your sanded wooden paddle to school on Friday.  You will be painting it on Friday.

Save your empty bottles and support the Royal Oak Middle School kids! When bringing bottles in to the Glanford Ave, Quadra St or Queens Ave Bottle Depots please tell the cashiers at the beginning of the transaction that you would like to donate the bottles to Royal Oak Middle School. At the end of every month the ROMS PAC will receive a cheque if the balance is over $50. Any money received by the end of this school year will go towards the Grade 8 Farewell Party.

All grade 6 band students please report to the band room at the beginning of block 2 for the dress rehearsal.

All grade 6 saxophonists have sectionals today during lunch activity. 

There will be a dress rehearsal for all band students in block 4 at approximately 2:30.

The Royal Oak Spring band concert takes place tonight at 7pm.  There will be a bbq and silent auction starting at 5:30pm. Please come out and support the band!

Guitar Club today at lunch in Mr. Menzies Room 122.

Girls Circle will be meeting today at advisory and lunch activity.

Canteen today: chicken nuggets - $2.00, chocolate smoothies – 50 cents and cookies – 75 cents.

ROMS SPORTS

Congratulations to ping pong finalists, Backspin Adin B., Macho Man Muscles Menzies and to the 2015 ping pong championship belt winner, Ping Pong Peng. Thank you for an excellent tournament. 

Open badminton will resume next Thursday at lunch. 

Please return all uniforms to Ms. Robson ASAP.

All grade 6 saxophonists have sectionals today during lunch activity.

Mountain bikers you must remember to sign up each week if you intend to ride that Friday.  Sign up in Mr. Prescott's office before Friday.


Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

The Royal Oak PAC AGM is next Wednesday, May 27th. A new PAC exec will be elected. Nominations are being taken via email or you may elect to run at the meeting next week. (Please email paula@shaw.ca for nominations) There are two positions for exec that are still open- Secretary and Co-Pacs Rep.Either position may be shared. At the AGM, there will be a speaker from Claremont PAC at the start of the meeting. Usual start time of 7 pm in the Learning Commons.
