Thursday is We are Silent Day. This annual day at ROMS is when we give up our voice to bring awareness to kids throughout the world who have no voice. They cannot go to school, they are made to be child labourers or grow up in poverty. Everyone of them has a voice that needs to be heard. Money raised goes to Free the Children, an organization that helps give a voice to these children.
Today is the date to vote, vote, vote. ROMS is in the BC Green Games challenge so we need to vote to support our school. Vote for Royal Oak's video on restoring Mahon Creek. The link is on the school website. http://www.bcgreengames.ca/project/mahon-creek-restoration-project101
