The Learning Commons will be open for homework only today during both break times as staff will be setting up for 2 presentations.

Today Ms. Blaikie's block 2 drama class is to meet in her class, room #120.

There will be an important rehearsal for all grade 7 band students today during lunch activity 

Registration forms for the saxophone workshop on April 11 at Bayside are due on Friday, please see Mr. Bridgman for details.

ROMS SPORTS

Important announcement for all swimmers who participated in the preliminaries yesterday and any competitive swimmers who are interested in swimming at the Middle School Championship meet this Sunday. You must attend a mandatory meeting today at recess (11:23) in Ms. Robson's room! 

Dodgeball today: the top 4 teams will be playing in our first round of playoffs today at lunch recess. These teams are 7-1, M-6, 6-2 and 7-2. Congratulations!

Grade 6/7 Boys team plays at Gordon Head today.

There will be a percussion workshop with a special guest teacher for all grade 8 percussionists tomorrow during lunch activity.

Swim Club meet # 4 this Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10:30-2:30.

Middle School swim meet finals are on Sunday, March 1 from 9:00-3:00.

Milk will be for sale Friday 1.00 white 1.50 for chocolate

Bake Sale Friday at Recess - Everything $1 - Proceeds to Free the Children.

Canteen today: chicken nuggets - $2.00, chocolate smoothies - 50 cents and cookies - 75 cents.

Important meeting for all grade 6 and 7 rugby players on Friday at lunch activity in the wood shop room 200. If you want to play this season you must attend or contact Mr. Reston before next week.

Today and tomorrow at lunch are the last day to buy Grizzlies Tickets to game Saturday night at the Q Centre. Tickets are $7.00. The evening should be great, there is a band playing in our section and proceeds go back to PAC.

Pizza Day tomorrow - $2.50 per slice - classes will be called in the following order: 6/7 Blue Floor, Grade 8, 6/7 Green Floor.

Guitar Club today at lunch in Mr. Menzies Room 122.

Girls Circle will be meeting today at advisory and lunch activity.

Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

Claremont will hosting a Parent Course Selection Information Night tonight from 7 to 8 pm.  Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this session.  If you have questions after the session or are not able to make the session and wish to book an appointment with a counsellor from Claremont, please email Ms. Puckett at npuckett@sd63.bc.ca to book an appointment or call 250-479-7128 ext. 459.  Appointments will be held March 2 and 3 from 9:30 am to 12 noon.

Grade 8 parents: If you are interested in helping plan for a fun grade 8 farewell event, PAC is taking names of volunteers for the Grade 8 farewell committee. The farewell will take place at the end of June. Please send an email to romspacpresident@gmail.com to put your name on the list.
