Good morning Royal Oak and welcome to the final day of the Cool Aid Warm Clothing Drive. Yesterday, Grade 8 leadership students collected clothing items from classrooms again and were impressed to see the warm jackets, hats, winter shoes/boots pour in for yet another day. A great effort so far to filling the need for warm clothing around the Victoria community. After day 4, we have a pretty close race between the Green floor and Blue floor for number of warm clothing items donated. The current score is 217 items for the Green Floor, and an whopping 266 items for the Blue Floor. However, we still have the last day to include, so stay tuned for the final results of the 2014 Royal Oak Warm Clothing Drive!
Congratulations to the blue floor field side who won the Halloween for Hunger Food Drive contest. Prizes will be given to teachers to hand out. Also congrats to Mrs. Smyth's 7-1 class, who won the pizza lunch, for bring in 796 cans of food.
Ms Savage's block 3 drama class will go to the following classrooms for drama today and Friday:
Div M-1 students in Mrs. Buxcey's class will go to the large gym and report to Mrs. Smyth.
Div. M-4 students in Ms. Robson's class will go to the art room and report to Ms. Robson.
Pizza Day today– Classes will be called in the following order: 6/7 Green Floor, Grade 8, 6/7 Blue Floor Helpers: Div 8-5 – Ms. Cardinal
Competitive Gr. 8 boys basketball team continued their perfect record this season with a 72 to 37 win over Glanford on Wednesday night. The boys next game is Monday at GNS. The boys are reminded of their practice Monday morning at 7:45.
Winter clothing order forms can be found in front of the office and on the Athletics website. Orders are due by November 28th. Get your ROMS hoodies, PJ pants, onesies and athletic socks in time for the holidays.
Grade 6 volleyball skills clinic today at lunch!
Any Grade 7 girls interested in playing volleyball this year, at either the 7/8 or 6/7 level, have a skills clinic/meet the coaches day on Sunday, November 23 from 9:30-11:00. Please see Mrs. Robson if you can not make it.

The CRAFT FAIR organizer is now taking names for volunteers. We have 2-2.5 hour shifts between 9:00 am and 3:45 for Saturday, Dec 6th.
