Just a reminder that there is no school this Friday, Monday or Tuesday. We will see you back on Wednesday morning.

Congratulations Mrs. Bowman and Mr. Menzies classes for winning the Grade 6-7 and Grade 8 Terry Fox pizza parties. It was super close, thank you to all classes for helping raise money for cancer research. You will get your pizza next pizza day.

All grade 8 band students please report to the band room at the beginning of block 1 this morning.

All grade 6 bass players have sectionals today during lunch activity period.

Canteen today: chicken nuggets - $2.00, chocolate smoothies – 50 cents and cookies – 75 cents.

ROMS SPORTS

There is a very important meeting for all competitive grade 6/7 boys basketball players in Mrs. Blaikie's room today at recess.

The Grade 6 boys competitive team has a home game today at 3:45. Come cheer them on!

6/7 boys competitive team has a game at St. Pat's today at 3:45.

Today is the last day to order basketball warm up jerseys.


Parents & PAC Royal Oak Review @ noon:

Just a reminder that Friday, November 7th and Monday, November 10th are non-instructional days in SD #63. Tuesday, November 11 is the Remembrance Day Statutory Holiday.

Next week PAC will be calling for volunteers to help out with our Annual Craft Fair. Please pencil in Saturday,December 6th on your calendar. It's a great event not only to volunteer for but also to shop. It is a BIG fundraiser for PAC and we would love to see our ROMS families there.

Reminder that our next general PAC meeting is Thursday, November 20th at 7 pm.

Parking continues to be an issue after school. Please consider using Greenlea Dr for pick up and also consider having your child meet you a few blocks away from the school. Walking is a healthy way to get a small amount of exercise.
