Food Drive: only 1 more days left to bring in your canned goods, let's see if we can help out the food banks and the community. Ms. Smythe's class is still in the lead with approximately 140 cans.

Canteen today: chicken nuggets - $2.00, chocolate smoothies – 50 cents and cookies – 75 cents.

Lost and Found - the Lost and Found is full.  In particular, there is a lot of PE gym strip in the Lost and Found. If you have lost any clothing items, please be sure to check for your lost item.

All grade 6 saxophonists have sectionals today during lunch activity period.

All band students who sold level ground coffee for October please pick up your orders in the band room today.

All band music librarians will be meeting in the band room during advisory period today.

All remembrance day dancers have a rehearsal on the stage at 1:16 today.


Attention grade 8 boys recreational basketball - there is a very important meeting in Mr. Stanchfield's room at recess today.

Grade 6 Boys competitive team has a home game today at 3:45. Come cheer them on!

6/7 Boys competitive team has a game at Dunsmuir today at 3:45.

Basketball warm up jerseys are now available to order. Orders due by Nov. 6th. Order forms can be found outside the office or on the website.

There is an important meeting for the grade 6/7 competitive boys basketball team during the first recess in room 120.

Gr. 8 Competitive Boys Basketball Team played their last preseason game last night and easily defeated Arbutus. The boys start their season Monday in our gym against Spencer and would appreciate your support. Game time is 3:45.

The Lost and Found is full! In particular, there is a lot of PE gym strip and shoes in the Lost and Found. If your child has lost any clothing items, please be sure to have your child check for their lost items.

Remembrance Day Ceremony. November 6th will be our annual ceremony to recognize our freedom and to honour our veterans. All parents are invited to come and participate with us. The assembly will be occur at 11 am.

The Parking Lot continues to be a congestion zone. Please consider making use of Greenlea Drive as well as dropping off and picking your child up a few blocks away from the school.

Halloween Friday is the day when we allow students to wear costumes but with expectations. Costumes should not interfere with students learning. There should be no masks, no weapons, and no blood or gore costumes. We will have having a special pop band performance in block 4 for the students.
