Drop Everything and Read 2014: A reminder that this coming Monday ROMS will participate with people around the province in a DEAR event to recognize the value of reading, literacy and libraries in BC. All you have to do is find something to read, sit down and just READ it for 20 minutes starting at 11:00. READ on Royal Oak.

Thank you to all of the students and staff who participated in the Terry Fox run over the last two days. We raised over $450 to donate towards research for cancer! Well done!

For the grade 8 students who are participating in the Galey Farm Social tonight, it is very very important for you to read the notice outside of room 220-and to pick up a letter of information for your parents. This is not a school sponsored event.

All grade 6 trumpet players have sectionals in the band room today during lunch activity period.

All band students - coffee fundraiser forms for October are due on Monday.


ROMS SPORTS

Congratulations to the gr.8 competitive boys basketball team on their first win of the season last night against SMU 42 to 20. The boys have a meeting today during the lunch activity period in the PE office with Mr. Stewart. The boys next game will be Monday, October 27 starting at 5:30 against Glanford. There will be no practice Monday morning.

No girls Grade 7/8 competitive basketball practice during pro d day.Game at Glanford Monday at. 3:45. Arrange your own rides.
