Grade Assemblies are today: Students will go to their Block that the assembly starts - from there the teacher will then bring students to the gym.

Recycling: Reminder that recycling towers are to be brought to the sorting station during advisory time.
Attention mountain bikers. It's not too late to join! See Mr. Prescott during any break to get your permission slips. There is a meeting for all mountain bikers on Wednesday in Room 119 at 1:20. Again, all mountain bikers meet in Mr. Prescott's office after advisory on Wednesday. This is a must attend meeting. Wednesday, after eating your lunch go to Room 119. First ride is Friday.
Any students interested in a very short Cross-country season, please come to a meeting on Wednesday at the lunch activity period in Mrs. Smyth's room.
Grade 7/8 boys basketball practice/sign up will be on Wednesday, Oct.1 at 7:45am. Please see Mr. Stewart if you can not make it.

Reminder that this Wednesday is Meet the Teacher Night at 7 pm. All parents and students are invited out for this important night to start our school year off.
Thursday is Student Photo Day. Be sure to come well groomed for your photo take. All students will have their photo taken and be provided with a set of proofs photos packages can be ordered from.
All locks on lockers need to be a school issued lock. There maybe some special situations where this is not the case, but in most situations students are to have a school issued lock.

Parking reminder.Picking up and dropping off your child on the street behind our school ( Greenlea) is the best option. As most of you are aware, out driveway and parking is very limited. Please do your part to help reduce the congestion and improve the safety factor for all.
