There will be no popcorn sales this Wednesday.  There was a lot of popcorn left on the school floors on our last popcorn day, and Mr. Johnson had to clean it all up by hand.

Reminder to students who are wanting to gain
recognition for Leadership, Citizenship, Athletics and Fine Arts to get your Recognition form filled out and signed off by the sponsor teacher. This is due Friday.

New art classes this week in grade 7 rotation need to bring paper, duotangs, pencils and art supplies all week.

It is
Epilepsy Awareness Week in Canada.  Epilepsy is a condition of the brain that is characterized by recurrent seizures.  Approximately one in 10 Canadians will experience at least one seizure in their life.  Epilepsy is a seizure disorder, not a psychological disorder or a disease and it is not contagious.  

There is a
Youth in Action Meeting Wednesday at lunch recess in Ms Morgan's room 132.

Reminder to Students who are wanting to gain
recognition for Leadership, Citizenship, Athletics and Fine Arts to get your Recognition form filled out and signed off by the sponsor teacher. Remember you have to put in a minimum of 10 hours in each of the categories to gain the recognition. This is due Friday.

Report Cards go home this Friday. For grade 7 students, the FSA booklets are also going home. Please be sure to return the report card envelope on Monday.


Boys Rugby Clinictomorrow at 3:30 at UVIC. Permission forms must be in by Wednesday am. 

Girls rugby meeting on tomorrow at lunch recess in the gym. Please see Ms. Little if you cannot attend.

Grade 6, 7 & 8 boys rugby practice today at 3:15. Cleats and mouth guards mandatory.

Reminder to the
grade 8 boys rugby team to hand in their permission forms to Mr. Stanchfield today. Also, reminder of practice after school today.

Sign up your division for
floor hockey intra-murals! Forms can be found outside the gym.

Badminton team sign up this Thursday at recess 11:23 in the gym.

All grade 6/7 boys
interested in playing basketball after school, please come to an important meeting tomorrow at lunch recess in the gym. 

Reminder to all girls wishing to play
field hockey for Royal Oak this year. First Practice is TODAY after school until 4:15.  Please bring extra socks, shin guards, and mouth guards if you have them.  Please see Miss Fuller if YOU cannot attend today's practice.  Next Practice is April 1- No Fooling.


Grade 6/7 competitive boys have a pizza party on Thursday in Miss Cottier's room 124 at 1:16.  Please bring a twoonie and your jersey.


There will be a meeting of all mountain bikers this Thursday in Room 121 at lunch activity time. If you are not yet a member of the Dump Jumpers and wish to join, please see Mr. Prescott before Thursday's meeting.


Talent show- 2014 Sign up will be this week outside Room 220.  Please consider performances you would like to present, either with a group or individually.  All acts are encouraged- auditions dates will be announced next week.


Reminder Report Cards go home on Friday.  For grade 7 Students, the results from the FSA  will also be sent home with the report cards.    This will be in the form of a Booklet.  Be sure to watch for this on Friday.
