Grade 8's  - Your Claremont Course Selection forms are due Today.

All swim club members, please meet in the MPR at lunch recess today for a team photo. Please bring your team t-shirt and donation for the coaches. 

Grade 6, 7 and 8 boys rugby practices today after school. Please bring a mouth guard and cleats and dress for the weather!

Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart
happens all day during PE. Bring your toonie! Donation envelopes are due tomorrow.

Something New for Friday Pizza Day!  We are trying out Cazones' from Villages this Friday.  A Calzone is a 10" Pizza folded in half and comes in two flavours (meat lover and vegetarian). You need to pre order and pre pay so we know the exact number to order.  The Calzones are $5 each.  All orders must be pre- paid.  Give your order to Mr. Bergeron by Thursday @ 1 pm

Lost and Found - the collection of lost and found will be taken away on Friday.  If you have lost an item, please check to see if it is in the L & F.

Grade 8's  - Reminder to get your Claremont Course Selection form in Today.

Friday Clean up.  All personal items such as gym strip and food containers need to go home for the spring break.  Please ensure your locker and desk are in clean condition as we do not want things going moldy while we are gone for the break. 

Recycling Stations close down today after advisory.

Garbage free Lunches - Starting Thursday.

Recycle Stations will be closed after today. We will be washing up the hall towers and putting away the Station bins.  All classroom towers and compost bins need to be washed out and left in classrooms for the break. 

Wacky Hair Day! Yes, this Friday will be Wacky Hair Day!  here at RO!.  Do up your hair in a creative and unique style to show your flare and individuality. There will be 3 prizes awarded to the most Wacky hair Styles on Wacky Hair Day!  this Friday! 

Sports:

  • Grade 6, 7 and 8 boys rugby practices today after school. Please bring a mouth guard and cleats and dress for the weather!

  • Any girls interested in playing rugby this year, please see Ms. Robson. All ages and abilities welcome!

  • The Grade 8 boys are challenging the Grade 8 girls to a volleyball game today at lunch. Come cheer them on! 

  • 6/7 boys volleyball teams A and B are playing at John Stubbs tomorrow.

  • Grade 6 Girls volleyball – Ms. Little and Dale's Team wrap-up in Room 123 on Thursday at recess.
    France 2015 - The grade 7 students who are registered to travel to France next year are asked to meet in Room 220 during lunch eating tomorrow.  Please bring your lunches.

    Talent show- 2014 - Mark your calendars everyone.  The great Royal Oak Talent Show will take place Wednesday evening, April 30.  Think about any acts you would like to audition after the Spring Break.  It could be individual or group singing, playing an instrument, dancing, acting, magic or comedy.  All acts must be prepared for auditions. Sign up will be after the Spring Break..

Lost and Found - items will be taken away Friday. If your child has lost an item, please check before items are gone.

Garbage free Lunches - Starting Thursday, we will not have any recycling due to the spring clean up of containers.  Please have your child use reusable food containers or have them bring home the packaging they bring to school.  Thanks for helping us keep our garbage to a minimum.
