Pink Shirt Day!
 Next Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day. Ask your teacher what Pink Shirt Day is all about.  A limited number of pink shirts will be on sale Friday!

Grade 6 sectionals today is Percussion and tomorrow is Bass Guitars.


Sports:
The Gr. 8 Boys Volleyball Team
beat Journey 25-13, 25-13 and Bayside 25-22, 25-18 yesterday completing league play with a perfect record of 22 set wins and 0 losses.  The boys will be hosting playoffs at Royal Oak over the next two Mondays.  Go Eagles!

B is playing at Spencer today.

 

Gr 8 Students - Be sure to hand in your Claremont Field Trip permission form.  This was due yesterday.  Claremont Counselors will be coming to RO on Monday to give out Grade 9 course selection forms.  Be sure you are here to hear their presentation and get your selection form. Mud and Water Puddles. - As you know is has been raining a lot lately.  Be sure to avoid the mud outside so that you do not track dirt into our school. 


Do you have any new or gently used handbags, purses, jewelery, or scarves that you no longer want? Well Handbags for Hope is looking for these items for a fund-raising event that supports cancer research. Please drop off any donations to the bins next to the office.

Lego you are not using.  If so, please drop it off at the front office.  We will make excellent use of it at ROMS

Girls – What are you doing this Friday? Want to celebrate winter in Hawaiian Style? Check out the Pro-G day for Girls on Friday, February 21st. The theme is Aloha Winter and all activities take place at Commonwealth place. See Ms. Mathews for more information.

Lost: Set of house keys with Hello Kitty on them, also lost was a pair of Black ear-buds – Please turn into the office if you find either of these items.

Found: Silver chain with charms dangling from it, gold coloured chain with a heart and plain gold coloured chain. Please claim at the office.

Handbags for Hope – Recycle your gently used handbags, purses, jewelery, or scarves that you no longer want? Handbags for Hope will use them to raise money for pediatric cancer research. We have a donation bin outside the office until Monday, February 24. Time to sort through your closet!
