ROMS News!  If you have not been tuning into ROMS News - you are missing out on valuable News Stories and Announcements.  Be sure to tune in today during your Advisory block to hear what is happening at Royal Oak.

Extreme Team Meeting in the Blue Seminar Room at morning recess today.

With the recent rain,
our grounds are very muddy.  Please do your best to stay out of the muddy areas so you do not track mud into our school.

Anyone interested in playing rugby at ROMS, please meet in Mr. Stanchfield's room at recess today.

All swim club members who are attending next week's swim meet need to see Ms. Robson today at the first recess (11:23) to pick up paperwork.

Recycling. Students emptying the towers at the recycle stations are to ensure all items are sorted correctly.

Grade 6 sectionals on Wednesday is Percussion.

Jazz Band practice is cancelled today due to playing tests.


The grade 7 boys volleyball team continued to play extremely well in their games at Central yesterday.  Well done boys!

Grade 6 rec volleyball is cancelled today at lunch.

Grade 6/7 girls team 1 is playing at Arbutus today.

Grade 6/7 girls teams 2 and 3 are playing at home today. Come cheer them on!

Grade 7/8 girls rec team A is playing at St. Margaret's tomorrow.

Grade 7/8 girls rec team B is playing at Spencer tomorrow.

Grade 8 Students should have returned their blue Claremont Field Trip Permission form today.
The Claremont Counselors will be here coming to visit Gr 8 classes on Monday with detail information and course selection forms.

Lets keep our school clean. We are asking students to avoid the muddy areas of our school grounds so that we do not track in dirt to our school.  Field B (right hand field) is closed due to the wet condition of the field.  We are asking students to stay off this field during recess and lunch activity times.

During Lunch activity time on out day, we are asking students to make their way outside and stay outside.  For Students who are inside for an assigned activity, you are to stay at that location as well until the 1:55 bell. 


Girls – What are you doing this Friday? Want to celebrate winter in Hawaiian Style? Check out the Pro-G day for Girls on Friday, February 21st. The theme isAlohaWinter and all activities take place at Commonwealth place. See Ms. Mathews for more information.

Grade 8 Parents. The Claremont transition field trip permission form were given out yesterday. Please return it signed today. Also - Claremont Counselors will be coming to RO on February 24 with course selection forms.

We have a donation bin outside the office until Monday, February 24. Time to sort through your closet!
