Grade 7 FSA practice assessments are happening today in the blue lab.

Sports:
Congratulations to the Gr. 8 Boys Competitive Volleyball Team
as they continued their undefeated streak on Monday beating Monterey 25-13, 25-11 and Arbutus 25-10, 25-17.  All players contributed to these wins with tough serving and great transitional play.  The Boys now have 12 set wins and 0 losses.  The next practice is Wednesday at 3:15pm.

The Grade 7 boys volleyball team played fantastic games yesterday, with wins against Lansdowne, and split with Dunsmuir.  Playing against grade 8 teams have not shaken these young athletes!  Well done!

  • Grade 6 recreation volleyball starts todayat lunch. Sign up with a group of 3 people and come join the fun!

  • Grade 7 comp girls play at Central today at 3:45

  • Grade 6 comp girls team 2 plays at SMUS today at 3:45

  • Grade 6 comp girls team 3 plays at John Stubbs today at 3:45

  • Grade 8 comp girls play at Spencer tomorrow at 3:45

If any grade 7 or 8 students are interested in participating in a Volleyball camp over the Spring Break please go to the ROMS athletic site for further information.

Reminder: There are
no food items allowed in the washrooms.

There will be a meeting for all of the
Open House Tour Guides today at 12:45 in the MPR. All tour guides must attend.

Jazz Band rehearsal today at 1:16 in the bandroom.

Grade 6 Sectionals this week at 1:16 are:

--Wednesday is Bass Guitar
--Thursday is Saxophones

This
Wednesday is another infamous French bake sale.  Bring your toonies and loonies as goods will one to two dollars!

Are you interested in joining the Royal Oak Eagels in running/walking the
Times Colonist 10K? Just go to the Times Colonist 10K website, Team Registration and enter Royal Oak Eagles! Early bird registration ends this week.

Girls interested in participating in an
All Girls Fun Day on the February 21st Non-Instructional Day, need to see Mrs. Mathews in room 117 for more information. This is always a fun event that is free for all participants.


Parents:
The SPCA is looking for both Blankets & Towels. Please send your extras to the office.

Skateboarding Drop-In, Pearkes Rec Centre every Tuesday from 3:15 to 5pm. $2/drop-in, all ages. See The Pearkes Rec Centre Activity Guide for more Middle-school-age programs.
