Welcome to our Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Nancy Macdonald, who is in our school today.

South Hallway doors - The south hallway doors are used only to go out.  There is no coming in the doors before school, at recess or at the end of the lunch activity time.

Skate Boards,Scooters and Bikes - there is no riding skate boards, scooters or bikes once on school property.  The grounds have too many pedestrians and cars that could easily result in a serious injury.  Once you reach the entrance gate, you dismount and walk your wheeled item on to the school grounds.


Sports:
The
Gr. 8 Boys Competitive Volleyball Team has a practice is today after school.

Grade 7 and 8 boys competitive volleyball players have a 3:15 practice today after school.

Reminder to all
Grade 7/8 girls rec volleyball players. Please return your permission forms and players packages to Ms. Robson ASAP.

Grade 6 Sectionals today are: Trombone and Tuba and Thursday's sectionals are Percussion.


There will be a meeting at the lunchtime activity time today (1:15) for all members of the Youth in Action group.  Please meet in Ms. Morgan's room.  See either Mrs. Smyth or Ms. Morgan if you cannot attend.

If you are interested in joining the
Extreme Team, there will be a meeting at 1:16 today in the Blue Seminar Room for new members.


Parents:

Parking: 
The south parking lot is reserved for parents picking up special needs students.  Please help out by picking up your child on Greenlea to reduce the congestion.

Skate for MS - The MS society
is holding a Family Free Skate at the Juan de Fuca Arena this Saturday. It is a fund-raiser for the MS society.   Bring your family and join in some fun from 2:15 - 3:45 .

Grade 7 Parents -
be sure to have your child go on line and practice the FSA test! Go to: www.bced.gov.bc.ca/assessment/fas/ or just Google FSA and the site comes up.
