Recognition Assemblies:  Today block 2 is our Recognition Assemblies.  Classes from the Blue Floor will be in the MPR and Green Floor classes will be in the Gym.   All students are to go to their block two class where your block two teacher will bring you to the assembly. Classes will be called to the assembly by the PA.

Lost and Found: please check for your missing items.

Remember to bring in your
Toy Drive items by Friday.

Recycling:  This is our last week of recycling for 2013.  Next week we are asking everyone to bring reusable containers for lunch and take all recyclable items home. We are washing the recycle towers so they'll be clean over the holidays. There will be no recycle bins available next week.


  • 6/7 boys competitive basketball team plays tomorrow in the finals at home at 3:45. Come cheer them on!

  • 7/8 girls competitive basketball team is playing for 1st place today at 5:15 at Gordon Head!

  • 7/8 boys competitive basketball team plays today for 1st place at home at 5:15. Come cheer them on!

  • Basketball intramurals today are Sters vs. Domination Nation and Miami Thunder vs. Dream Team.

  • Grade 7 & 8 volleyball tryouts start tomorrow. 7 & 8 boys at 7:45am. 7 & 8 girls at lunch recess.

  • Grade 8 boys competitive volleyball will be starting tomorrow:

-Thursday 12th  (7:45 - 8:45am)
--Friday 13th (3:15 – 4:45pm

and next Monday & Tuesday:
--Monday 16th  (7:45 - 8:45am) 
--Wednesday 18th (3:15 - 4:45pm).

Ms. Savage 's class is holding a bake sale today at recess and lunch.  They are raising money for youth who are homeless. All items are 75 cents or two for a $1.00 . Please come and support this cause!

Recycling - Next week we have no recycling as we are cleaning up for the holidays. Please do not send recyclable materials to school in your child's lunch next week.  Reusable containers is the solution!   Students will be asked to take recyclable items home for recycling. Thanks for your support!
