Earthquake Preparedness - reminder to students to bring in the requested food provisions listed on the Web page.  Once items are collected, they can be brought to the office.

Halloween for Hunger – We are running a food drive at Royal Oak until October 31st. Help support local families in need by bringing in cans and non-perishable items to your classroom. The hallway with the most cans and non-perishable items will win a prize!

Mt. Bike Club meets at 3:15 today.

Basketball:
Any students still interested in playing on a recreational basketball team need to see Ms. Robson.
Any grade 8 boys that missed the sign-up for recreational basketball, please, see Mr. Stanchfield at recess today.
The 6/7 girls competitive basketball team has a practice on Monday at 7:45am.

Basketball warm up jerseys are now available for order. Forms can be found outside the PE office or on the website. Orders due by Thursday, October 24th

Colquitz school is opening their doors
FOR THE BOYS ONLY Pro Bro Day on October 25. There is still room to register. Please see Mrs. Mathews to get your forms as soon as possible.

Pizza day is today, and sells for $2.50 a slice.

 

Parents:

Earthquake supplies - Please check to see what supplies your child's division is being asked to bring in for earthquake preparedness. This week we will be participating in the “Shake out BC” drill.

Thank you all the parents who are making use of
Greenlea Dr for picking up your child at the end of the day.

Recycling - we do not accept recycling items from your home here at R.O.  The district has to pay to have recycling items picked up.

Fees – if you did not receive a fee invoice for your child, please contact Ms. McIlwraith at the office at 250-479-7128 ext 452, or email amcilwraith@sd63.bc.ca. Payment is due now.
