Students:

Today is Team Jersey Day here at Royal Oak!    This is both a school spirit event and a fundraiser for Kidsport.   Kidsport provides financial assistance to kids who want to play sports but cannot afford the cost.

Monday is Thanksgiving Day – no school for students!

There are several
Basketball announcements:
All students interested in
playing recreation basketball have an important meetingon Thursday, Oct 17th at lunch 1:16 in the gym.
The
final 6/7 girls competitive tryouts will be Tuesday, Oct 15th @ 7:45-8:45 am.
The
final 6/7 boys competitive call back tryouts will be onTuesday, Oct 15th @ lunch 1:16-1:50.

For the gr. 8 students
traveling to France-Ashley C wins the first anti theft competition. Please collect your prize at recess in Mme Espedido's room.

Colquitz school is opening their doors FOR THE BOYS ONLY to enjoy a day playing forest games, dodge ball, skateboarding, wheelchair basketball and much more on
Pro Bro Day on October 25. Please see Mrs. Mathews across from the green computer lab to get your forms ASAP. The forms need to be filled out by parents and returned by next week.

Lost: Black reebok shoes, size 9, with green laces. Please return to office if found.

Today is Pizza day and Milk will also be sold at the canteen.

Monday is Thanksgiving Stat Holiday. No school!

arthquake supplies.  Please check the RO web page to see what the PAC is asking each division to bring in for emergency food supplies to have on hand in case of a disaster.

Recycling - we do not accept recycling items from your home here at R.O.  The district has to pay to have recycling items picked up.

Kidsport fund raiser!   Tomorrow is Team Jersey Day here at Royal Oak!  We are asking all students to wear a Jersey or T shirt that has a Sports Team Logo on it.  This is both a school  a fund raiser for Kidsport.   Kidsport provides financial assistance to kids who want to play sports  but can not afford the cost.  Please send a loonie or toonie with your child tomorrow!
