1) Terry Fox Run - The 33rd annual Terry Fox Run is in 3 days! Remember to wear both Red and White on Thursday and bring your in your toonie. Let's keep Terry';s dream alive to find a cure for Cancer. Terry ran 5773 kms in 143 days, we can run 5 km in one block.
--Popcorn will be sold out of the canteen tomorrow for $1 a bag. Proceeds go to the Terry Fox Foundation.
2) Meet The Teacher Night - This Thursday is Meet the Teacher night. This is an opportunity for you to show your parents your classroom and introduce them to your teachers. See you at 7 pm pm on Thursday!
3) Lost and Found - the lost and found pile is building. Please check to see if you have any items there as all items will be taken away Friday.
4) Garbage Free Lunches. Thanks to all of you who have been bringing in reusable containers for your lunch. The reduction of packaging really reduces the about of recycling we have to do here at RO.

The venue for the X-Country meet scheduled for tomorrow (September 25) HAS BEEN CHANGED to the Cedar Hill Recreation Centre. Students should still be dismissed from class at 2:45pm so that they may check out at 2:50pm from the foyer in front of the office.
Grade 8 Rowing Practice today from 4 – 6pm at Elk Lake.
This Friday is a Non-Instructional Day (NID). Students will not be in attendance as teachers will be partaking in Professional Development activities.
Soccer intramurals Wednesday will be 6-1 vs. 6-3 and M-4 vs. 7-1. Please be in gym strip.

Yearbook Pre-Order Forms are now available for students. Books are $35 each and the book this year is 50 additional pages and hardcover. The forms are available on the front page of the ROMS website, on Ms. Cottiers Teacher Page, and outside the office. Please return forms to the office. Delivery date is in June.

We encourage parents to drop off and pick up your child on Greenlea Drive. This is the road right behind the school where there is lots of space to park. It also gives your child a chance to and walk across the field and get some exercise.
Compost Soil: We still have few bags of compost soil available for sale. This soil is from the composted lunches that the school produces.
Friday is a Non-Instructional day - thus no school in session. This is a good weekend to have the gym strip come home for a fresh cleaning and be returned on Monday.
