Outside day today - Enjoy the Sunshine!

The Recycling station will be up and running today.  Classes can bring their towers to each of the floor locations to empty their tower recycling items.
Please make sure the correct items go in the correct bags.   Thanks for making the effort to make our school garbage free.

school forms should be back by today.  We want to ensure all forms are back so we can move on with our regular school business.

Gym classes.  All students should be bringing their gym strip to every class from this point on.

Gr 8 Rowers.  Please listen to announcements as to when your first practice will be.  We are waiting to hear from Elk Lake on that!  If you did not make it to the swim test, see Mrs. Robson in the gym.

There will be a quick meeting today at 11:23 recess in room 220 for the
grade 8 students who are traveling to France this year.

ROMS clothing – gym pack order form is now available outside the office, in the gym office, or on the front page of the ROMS website. Orders due by Friday, September 13 for delivery by the end of September.

Registration night for any students interested in playing
Night League Basketball will be held on Tuesday September 10th, at Royal Oak Middle School between 6PM and 8PM. Please see Ms. Robson if you have any questions.

If you are interested in joining the
Animation Club, please meet in the blue lab at lunch activity time on Friday, September 13th.

Student fee invoices were sent home with students on Friday. Please send in your payment as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. McIlwraith in the office at

The $5 Student Planner processing fee is to pay for
ongoing copy costs to provide students with the information that would normally be provided in the agenda.  This information includes things like awards materials, weekly agenda logs, code of conduct, media release sign off, time tables and schedules and school expectations information.
