Please get all the numerous
school forms filled out and returned as soon as possible.  Thank you to all the students who have already brought in their forms.

Recycling is not up and going yet so we are asking students to make use of the garbage cans at recess and lunch activity time.  Please ensure all wrappers and garbage items are placed in the garbage cans.  We do not want to see litter on our school grounds.  Royal Oak encourages 'Waste Free Lunches'. Bring your lunch in reusable containers and take home your plastic and uneaten food.

Athletic Leadership students have a meeting today at 1:16 lunch activity time in the gym. Please see Ms. Robson if you cannot attend.

The Grade 8 rowing team is now full. What a great turnout! Team list is posted outside the PE office and on the athletics webpage.
All Grade 8 novice rowers (who have not rowed before) must attend a swimming test TODAY, Friday, September 6th, from 6:00-6:15 at Elk Lake. Please let Ms. Robson know if you will not be able to make it.

There will be a quick meeting on Monday at 11:23 recess in room 220 for the
grade 8 students who are traveling to France this year.

ROMS clothing – gym pack order form is now available outside the office, in the gym office, or on the front page of the ROMS website. Orders due by Friday, September 13 for delivery by the end of September.

Registration night for any students interested in playing
Night League Basketball will be held on Tuesday September 10th, at Royal Oak Middle School between 6PM and 8PM. Please see Ms. Robson if you have any questions.

If you are between 12-18 and want to check out what the Air Cadets offer, please come to the
Open House Saturday Sept 14 10-3PM  near the Airport in Sidney. They are also looking for band members

1)  Parking is at a premium here at Royal Oak.  Dropping off and picking up your child on Greenlea Dr is most helpful to reduce the traffic congestion at the front of the school.

2)  Please get all the numerous school forms filled out and returned as soon as possible.  It is important that we get all the needed information back so we can get on with the school year.  Thanks for your diligence on this.
