1)  Final Clean up that needs to be done:
a)  All desks cleaned out
b)  All lockers cleaned out
c)  All personal belongings taken home


2)  If Teachers could do a visual check on desks and lockers that would helpful.

3)  The Large recycle bins are open.  If you paper recycle bin or garbage can is full, please have a student take it to the bins for dumping.

Tomorrow - our last school day.
a)  School starts at the regular 9 am.
b)  Students will be in homeroom for 1 hr.
c) We have our awards ceremony from 10:30 - 11:40.  Classes will be called down to the gym over the PA starting at 10 am where a slide show will be shown. d)  Ask homeroom teachers to go over what  Awards assembly expectations are. 
e)  After the awards assembly, students will be dismissed back to home room classes for their report cards
f)  In order to be dismissed early, students must bring in the signed permission form from parents.  No phone calls will be accepted.
Students staying for the day, will be helping with clean up activities.

4)  Reminder there is no recycling.  We are asking students to do your best to keep garbage to a minimum.
All Compost bins and Recycle towers need to be scrubbed out with soap and water by the end of today. 

Summer clean up: If you see any tables/classroom out in the hall, or if you are in an area that Mr. Johnson is working in, please do not touch the equipment or furniture. We don't want any last-day injuries.

Grade 6 students are at Beaver Lake Park and the Saanich Commonwealth Pool today. Have Fun!
Grades 7-2, 7-3, 7-7 will be using the MPR this morning.
Grade 7-1 and 7-5 are going to the IMAX theatre today.
Grades 8-5 and 8-7 are going to WildPlay today.


Jump Rope for Heart Prizes are now available. If you did not receive your prize on Monday, please see Mrs. Smyth in room 231.

Current Grade 7 students who wish to apply for Athletic Leadership next year can find the application information on the school website under Athletics. Applications are due at the office by July 10th.

Miss Cottier will be selling
extra yearbooks on today on a first come, first serve basis for $32  There will be no reserves or holds allowed.

All medications held in the office need to go home with you at the end of the school year. Please see
Mrs. Haley to pick-up your medication on your last day of school.

The Recycling Program has ended for the school year. This means:

--Please bring reusable containers for your lunch. We are a garbage free school and want  to keep our garbage to a minimum.
--
Blue paper bins - keep in Classrooms. Keep using. When full- take out to big green bin - get as much paper out early as bin fills on last week.

Please check out the
Lost & Found by the elevator on the lower floor. Also, if you have lost jewelery, please ask at the office.

Thursday is the final day of school. Students are expected to attend school each day this week and may be dismissed early on Thursday if your parents have completed an Early Dismissal Form. This form is available online and a few extra copies are available outside the office. This form must be turned into your homeroom teacher by tomorrow.

Parents:

All medications held in the office go home at the end of the school year. Please remind your child pick-up their Epipen. Please update medications that will be returned in September.

Students are expected to attend school each day this week. Students can be dismissed early on Thursday with an Early Dismissal Form.

Students will be cleaning out their lockers this week – please send a bag with your child so they can bring home their belongings.
