Thursday is an Early Closure day – Dismissal at 2:08pm, buses will arrive early.

Reminder to students that the
Recognition page 24 in your Student Planner is due this Friday.  All students wishing to be recognized for Term 3 and the year, need to get page 24 filled out and signed off by the sponsor teacher.   This is particularly important for Grade 8's year end awards. 

Nice weather - students are asked to make their way outside for fresh air as soon as possible at recess and at lunch activity time.

All grade 8's who have not signed up for the
Farewell must bring in permission slips tomorrow.  The slips will be collected at 3:00pm by the parent coordinator.  This is the last chance to submit slips in time to order a T Shirt. We will not have extras at the school.

Track & Field Students who want to qualify on Wed. May 29 have a meeting today at 1;16 in the gym. See Ms. Robson or Mr. Steward if you cannot attend.

All Field Hockey players need to return their uniforms to Miss Fuller by Friday - no exceptions!

Reminder to the
grade 7-8 rugby team to return their washed uniforms to Mr. Stanchfield as soon as possible.

Musical Theatre pizza party on Tuesday, May 28, 12:47 in the MPR. Each student will receive 2 pieces of pizza and students are responsible for their own drinks and the rest of their lunch.

The local Mustard Seed food bank is getting an extreme makeover on June 2nd. Ms.Robson's car is going to be in the "convoy of awesome", bringing as much food to the food bank as her little car can hold! She is challenging all classes to try and bring in as many cans as possible.

Attention Dump Jumpers. There is an important meeting for all members of the Dump Jumpers Mountain Bike Club today at 1:15, immediately following Advisory.  Meet with Mr. Prescott in his office. 


2013/14 Grade 6/7 Parents – PLEASE JOIN US FOR AN INFORMATION Session on the Grade 6/7 Multi-age Inquiry Program. Tuesday, May 28th at 7pm in the Bandroom.

metal recycling is now finished for the year.  Thanks for you support!

We still have the
Compost Soil for sale.  Please drop in after school and get your bags of soil to help support the leadership program at Royal Oak.
Soil is $10 per bag or 3 bags for $25.
