Monday, May 13 is a Professional Development Day – no students in attendance.


Today we welcome
Cordova Bay Elementary to our school.  When you see the new students touring our school, please give them a friendly Royal Oak welcome.
Musical students will come to the MPR at the start of block 2 to perform for the Grade 5s.

Sports News

If you played on a school
Basketball team this year, please see Mr. Stewart today at 11:23 recess in the gym.

Girls Field Hockey Players have a game today at UVic after school.

There is a very important meeting for all
Track and Field participants on today at lunch (1:16), and on Friday, May 10th at lunch (1:16) in the gym. Since there is no school on Monday, May 13th due to the Professional Development Day, you will need to be at the meetings to sign up for your event.

All
grade 7 and 8 girls interested in playing a softball game against Bayside on Tuesday May 21st, please meet in the library at Recess on Friday

Dump Jumpers, please remember to sign up each week you plan to ride. 

The PE Hallway and MPR will be out of bounds this week due to the musical theatre production.   
Musical Theatre rehearsals for this week are:

Thursday and Friday -

  • 1045 - 1100 - 1 song and 1 scene for grade 5 visitors (Thursday only)

  • Show performances at 430 and 7 pm - Tickets still available!

S'Cool! Tickets available before and after school in the library.   The 7pm shows are now SOLD OUT! Tickets are still available for the 4:30pm shows on Thursday and Friday.

At 1pm on Wednesday, May 8, Keating Out-of-school Care will be here to advertise their summer youth camp for ages 10 to 12. Remind your child to pick up a flier if you are interested.
