Lost and Found: Please check the lost and found items on the bottom floor by the elevator, and pick-up your belongings. Items will be taken taken to a charity by the end of tomorrow.

Gr 8's. will have the opportunity to watch our Musical today during block 4. After the lunch activity, please report to your Block 4 PE or FAAS class where you will be brought to the MPR for the musical production.

Today we welcome
Prospect Lake Elementary and other new students to our school.  When you see the new students touring our school, please give them a friendly Royal Oak welcome.

Sports News:

No intramural badminton today.

There is a Throw practice Wednesday and Thursday morning.

Grade 7 and 8 Boys Hardball game today at Hyacinth Park. Please meet Miss Cottier and Miss Little at Hyacinth Fastball park as soon as you can.

The PE Hallway and MPR will be out of bounds this week due to the musical theatre production.   

Musical Theatre rehearsals for this week are:

Tuesday -

  • 10:45 - 1100 - 1 song and 1 scene for grade 5 visitors (Musical Performing students go to Block 2 and then at 10:30 come to the MPR)

  • Block 4 - full dress rehearsal performance for all grade 8 classes

Wednesday -

  • 1045 - 1100 - 1 song and 1 scene for grade 5 visitors

  • perhaps looking to add one more full dress rehearsal performance sometime today...

Thursday and Friday -

  • 1045 - 1100 - 1 song and 1 scene for grade 5 visitors (Thursday only)

  • Show performances at 430 and 7 pm - Tickets still available!

Royal Oak's Musical Theatre Production of S'Cool! is coming this week!  Tickets are for all 4 shows are going fast!  Get yours while they are still available.  Tickets can be picked up between 830 and 9 am in the Learning Commons.

At 1pm on Wednesday, May 8, Keating Out-of-school Care will be here to advertise their summer youth camp for ages 10 to 12. Remind your child to pick up a flier if you are interested.
