Reminder tomorrow is our 3rd Mini X block.  Students needing specialized supplies, please bring in for tomorrow.  Students in Go Cart Building need to bring a bicycle helmet. 

Today's Earth Week challenge is: Sustainable Transportation Day. Try to take a bus, car pool, ride your bike, or walk to school.
Friday: Sweater and Toque Day. The temperature in the school will be lower on Friday until around 10am. Come to school prepared and dress warm.

Sports News:
Results of the Gr. 8 City Badminton Championships
Boys Doubles - Justin L and William O placed second and Tyler T and Arjun N placed fourth.

Track and Field practice for gr. 6,7 and 8 students wishing to compete in the Shot Put, Discus and Long Jump will take place today after school and Friday morning at 8am.  Please see Mr. Stewart for more information.

Attention grade 7-8 Eagles rugby players -
there is a quick meeting in Mr. Stanchfield's room at recess today. Don't miss it.

There will be a meeting today at
lunch for all 200m sprinters attending the Track Meet next Monday. This very important meeting will take place in Mr. Menzies' room 232, again at lunchtime 1:20pm.

Long Distance
runners meet today at 1:16 in the gym with a practice after school

Thanks to all runners who came out last night for the first track and field practice -
our first meet is on Monday, April 29th. If anyone missed the practice, please see Mr. McCafferty in room 231 at Lunch, or Mr Menzies at lunch.

Saanich Commonwealth Place drop-in activities after school today in the MPR.

Freestyle Youth Dance for ages 11-16yrs.  Friday May 3rd at Panorama Recreation Centre 7-10pm.  Tickets are $7  during the dance, there will be 3 performances by Raw Citizens hip hop dance crew. 

Lost: Samsung Galixy Q smart phone. Please turn it into the office if you find it.
