Today's Earth Week challenge is: a warm-up in the class to the Harlem Shake played over the PA during advisory.
Thursday:Sustainable Transportation Day. Try to take a bus, car pool, ride your bike, or walk to school.
Friday: Sweater and Toque Day. The temperature in the school will be lower on Friday until around 10am. Come to school prepared and dress warm.
Congratulations to the Royal Oak boys who played baseball at Hyacinth park yesterday. Next game on Tuesday against Bayside.

All grade 8 students playing in the badminton city championships have a very important meeting today at 11:23 recess in the gym to arrange rides to SMU after school today. Please see Mr. Stewart if you cannot attend.
The grade 6/7 Boys Rugby Team played two amazing games last night and came up just short of winning. Congratulations to all players and we'll see you at the next practice.

--Short Distance runners meet today after school with a practice from 3:08 to 4:15 (100m, 4 by 100m, 200m, 400m and hurdles)
--Students in gr, 6,7 and 8 who would like to compete in long jump, shot and discus have a meeting today at 11:23 recess in the gym. First practice for these events will be Thursday morning at 8am in the gym.
--Long Distance runners meet Thursday at 1:16 with a practice after school.
