Our 2nd Mini X is on again tomorrow. Please come prepared for your event.   Tomorrow's forecast calls for rain showers so groups that are outside need to be dressed for the weather.

visitors here at Royal Oak! We have a very active day with all the numerous environmental improvements that will be going on.  A big thank you to Mrs. Morgan for all her  work to make this happen! 

Mr. Goy is not at school today. ESL students will go to your regular scheduled block.

Tonight is Band Night for new students & their parents. Come and try-on-an-Instrument from 7 to 8:15 in the bandroom! Today the Grade 8 Band students are playing at Prospect Lake and Lochside schools.

Badminton Intramurals,
Grade 8 doubles tournament continues today at 1:16. New players welcome.

Badminton drop in is from 8 to 9am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Badminton tournament after school HOME game against PCS & Cathedral in the ROMS Gym. Only ROMS students who have qualified for the city championships next week will be playing from 3:15 to 5pm. Please see Mr. Stewart.

Field hockey meeting today at 11:23 recess in Miss Fuller's room (222).  All field hockey players please attend this important meeting.

All hip hop dancers have a dance rehearsal at 1:16 today on the stage.

No grade 6 sectionals this week.

A Grade 8 girls baby photo was dropped off at the office without a name. The child has brown hair and is wearing a white shirt. Please identify at the office.

Dump Jumpers, remember to sign up if riding this Friday.

A meeting for the
FRANCE travellers will be held today during second recess in Mme Espedido's room.  A bientot!

Found: in the boys changeroom – two sets of house keys. One gold key and keyring with three keys and a 'travel bug' metal tag. A cell phone was also turned in, please claim at the office.

Saanich Commonwealth Place after-school, drop-in program is in the MPR from 3:08 to 5pm today.

Our Scrap Metal recycling fund raiser for the band program continues until May 3rd.

Composted Soil is on Sale at Royal Oak!  Bags of soil are $10 each or 3 for $25. This is also a fundraiser for the Leadership students.

Come see our Musical Performance S'Cool! Thurs & Fri, May 9 & 10 - Two performances each evening ~ 4:30 and 7:00pm. Tickets available through the performers or at the school.
