A BBQ for all the visiting Mexican Students and their classroom buddies will happen today.  Please meet outside by the back door of the Hm Ec room at 12: 47.

Reminder with the nice weather, both recess and lunch will be
out days.  Students are to get their snacks and make their way outside as soon as possible for fresh air and exercise.

Our first Mini X went very well on Friday.  Our second session will happen again this Friday so please come prepared.

Royal Oak is hosting
Adult Visitors from Beijing touring our school today. Please give them a friendly welcome as you see them walking around.

Girls Field Hockey
practice today at 3:15 - 4.  We do not have any games this week!!!

Grade 7 and 8 Boys Hardball Practice on Today afterschool on the Royal Oak field from 3:15 to 4:15.  Please make sure you bring your glove. Three games will be played between the Grade 7 Boys and Grade 8 Boys at Layritz.  Game times are going to be announced soon.

Badminton Intramurals, Grade 6 doubles tournament continues today at 1:16. New players welcome.
Badminton players
wishing to try out for the city championships, must be in the gym today at 3:15. See Mr. Stewart if you cannot attend.

Badminton drop in is from 8 to 9am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.(until April 26)

Rugby: Well done to the gr. 7-8 Eagles rugby team for a quality performance at Claremont and Journey. Practice Today afterschool.

Musical Theatre:  All dancers in the hip hop dance number have a rehearsal today at 1:16 on the stage.

Our Scrap Metal recycling fund raiser for the band program continues until May 3rd. Thank you for your support and keep bringing in all your scrap metal as it all helps!

Composted Soil is on Sale at Royal Oak!  The soil is the result of all our composted materials that we collect - coming back to us as soil to complete the cycle.  Bags of soil are $10 each or 3 for $25.  It's happening at ROMS!
