Today is the BIG DAY to be PINK at Royal Oak!  Yes we want every Student and Staff to be dressed in as much PINK as possible to make a clear statement that we do not tolerate Bully or Nasty Behaviour at Royal Oak.   You can make a difference by wearing PINK and saying NO to inappropriate Behaviour in our culture.

Gr 8's - all Permission forms to Claremont should now be in.  The Trip to Claremont is tomorrow & students are to bring their lunch to block 3 class tomorrow.  There is also a Student/Parent information night at Claremont tonight @ 7 pm. 

Grad 8s – please return your PINK course selection sheets to your homeroom teacher by next week.

--Gr. 6/7 Rec Volleyball Girls
played their final games of the season last night against Rockheights and SMU.  The girls played very well and won their final two games against Rockheights.  Well Done Girls!
--The 7/8 Girls Recreation
Volleyball team has an AWAY game today at SMUS (St. Michael's University School) at 3:45. The address is 3400 Richmond Rd, Victoria.
Gr. 7 Dodgeball Intramural Championships will take place Today at 1:16 in the gym.  Gr. 7 homeroom teachers please get your team organized today for tomorrows big championship game. Gr. 8s will play on Friday at 1:16

Reminder to all grade 7-8 boys of their rugby practice after school today. Mouthguards and cleats are mandatory. See Mr. Stanchfield if you have any questions.

Field Hockey for Royal Oak this year, please attend a meeting at 11:25 in room 222 with Ms. Fuller on Thursday.

Learning Commons Crew, please meet Mrs. Nelson in the Library at 12:47 today for a meeting.

Musical Theatre:
Thank you to all the students that came out to audition for musical theatre! The cast has been set and the list has been posted on the bulletin board across from the band room. There will be a meeting early next week with the whole cast, including dancers and technical crew!

Attention all band students! Have you done your band test yet? If your answers is NO then please make certain you sing up for your test on the band room door or see Mr. Ziegler in the band room as soon as possible. All test must be completed by the end of lunch activity time tomorrow (Thursday February 28th). 


Student Course over Spring Break! This Spring Break we'll focus on teamwork and games. Lots of games! The program will include fun interactive workshops, leadership exercises, and swimming.
